happyslip

20 01 2008

I know I need a late pass, cause this girl has been an overnight celeb on the net for awhile now. She owes her success to her rare blend of geekiness and decent looks. She’s every nerd’s fantasy, a cute asian girl that’s into computers, tech savvy, and seems like she would date any nerdy dude that subscribes to her videos.

But I can’t be the only one who finds her cheesy to the next level. I know she’s doing her thing because of her YouTube success, but I can’t watch one of her videos without being extremely irritated by her corniness. I’m not watching it thinking ,”Damn Happyslip I hate you, you suck and you are corny”, I’m more thinking, “Damn Happyslip I feel bad for you because you are making yourself look like a fool”. Her videos are like the sort of projects I would make as a kid in grade school and then look bad now and think to myself, “What the fuck was I thinking?”

nudie log

19 01 2008

I definitely should’ve started a log for my jeans in August when I first got them but that didn’t happen. Its pretty dope to see them change over the months, even though I don’t wear them as much as I could. I feel they are turning out pretty nice though. Also, I don’t know what people have been complaining about “crotch rot” or stinky raw jeans in general. I haven’t washed mine once yet and they smell fine. Maybe I just don’t have really bad BO.

has incase fixed their sleeves or what?

19 01 2008

So I have a black/black Incase sleeve for my white 13″ Macbook that has been basically chillin’ on my couch since I got it in the mail in November. Right before I was about to put it on, I caught some people talking about it on the Apple site complaining about how the sleeve has stained their white Macbooks. I’m assuming Apple and Incase have both known about this problem for awhile. I’m wondering why the hell Incase hasn’t switched back to the black sleeve with the green lining inside. This earlier model has been reported to have no stains whatsoever with the white Macbooks. Instead, they continue to to roll out the black sleeves with the black lining inside.I’ll admit, I’m a little overprotective about my Macbook, but hell the reason I’m buying a sleeve, not a big case is to protect my Macbook cosmetically. I don’t want a sleeve that will stain, because to me, that is almost as bad as scratching – which was the sole reason I bought a sleeve in the first place! I emailed Incase and asked them whether they fixed this problem yet, and I’ve had no reply. I think it’s been going since summer of last year. Kind of bums me out…
